I bought this presenter (with the green laser) about two month ago and have used it fairly intensively. The buttons are well placed and work well with no contact bounce or failure to activate. The unit has an actual on/off switch which I appreciate as ot prevents accidental activation of the unit. It has a cursor mode which I thought to be potentially useful... until I realized that the laser does not work in cursor mode. Brilliant...not! The body is rubberized with a nice feel, and for me it has just about the right size. The USB receiver dongle has a slot for a micro-SD card to hold your talk. A 4 GB card is included, a nice touch.
Why do I give it only an average rating? Because there are too many imperfections and what seem to be unnecessary compromises. First, while better than the red ones, the laser is not as strong as many dedicated laser pointers are. In a large theater I can see it not being strong enough. The USB dongle actually gets quite warm; more relevant, though is that the transfer of files to the card is astonishingly slow. Ok for a single talk, but substandard. My biggest disappointment is that it will not run off NiMH rechargeables (well, at least the laser won't). None of these are fatal, but they do lower the rating. Ultimately, though, it does the job so I can recommend it.

The green laser is beautiful, extremely visible. Making the mode switch a slide switch
was a great design choice. With my previous device I was never sure which mode
I was in (and it was often the wrong one, as the pushbutton would toggle in my pocket). The battery indicator is also very useful.
After seeing mine, my spouse immediately ordered one for herself.

My 2nd Presenter Expert. Gave the 1st one to a missionary friend to take to Mongolia. This little gizmo is easy to operate and carry around. Couldn't be more pleased!
